This Privacy Policy explains how Brainy Day ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our apps and websites, including LetterClash by Brainy Day and PatchWord by Brainy Day (the "Services").
The two games are different, and so is the data they collect. LetterClash is a multiplayer game with opponents, chat and turn notifications. PatchWord is a single-player daily puzzle with none of those. The table below says exactly which app collects what; a row marked "not collected" is data that app never sends anywhere.

You can sign in to either game using any of the following:
PatchWord is fully playable as a guest — the entire game is available without an account.
Your data is stored and processed by our backend provider, PlayFab (Microsoft Azure PlayFab), a third-party service. To provide the Services, data described above is transmitted off your device to that service. We do not sell your data.
LetterClash sends optional push notifications (such as "your turn"). You can enable or disable them in the app's Settings, and you can also manage notification permissions in your device's system settings. If you disable notifications, we no longer use your push token to notify you. PatchWord does not send push notifications at all and never asks for your push token.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time — in either app or by contacting us. See our Account & Data Deletion page for step-by-step instructions for each game and a list of what gets deleted.
The Services are not directed to children under the age required by applicable law without appropriate consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information without proper permission, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data protected.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above.
